Crystal D. Hatton, MA, LPC

Crystal holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Family Studies from Corban University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (License #C6821) and is a board-approved clinical supervisor. While counseling is rarely a quick fix, Crystal provides a personalized, trauma-sensitive, culturally sensitive, and integrated approach to help you, which may include Restoration Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

On a personal note, Crystal is married to her high school sweetheart, and they now have two sons in high school, each with his own unique personality. As a family, they enjoy trips to the Oregon coast and exploring the beautiful waterfalls of the Pacific Northwest. They also have a mini husky (Alaskan Klee Kai) who, as a “forever puppy,” is undoubtedly the family favorite! Crystal is a deep thinker who values meaningful conversations that challenge both herself and others to learn, grow, and rise strong through life’s challenges.

Crystal would be honored to learn more about you, hear your story, and walk with you on your journey to Rising Strong!

Elaina Echo-Hawk, Graduate Student Intern
Supervised by: Crystal D. Hatton, MA, LPC

Elaina Echo-Hawk holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Liberty University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an anticipated graduation of August 2025. As a counseling intern, she has completed all coursework for the program, except for the internship.  Elaina’s academic focus has been on trauma recovery, and she is dedicated to specializing in this area in her future practice.  Rising Strong Counseling is delighted to welcome Elaina for this internship, where she will provide counseling sessions to clients under the supervision of both Crystal D. Hatton, MA, LPC, (Oregon License #C6821) and a faculty supervisor from Liberty University.

Personally, Elaina enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved cats. She loves to relax by curling up with a good book and a cup of tea. Her hobbies include candle-making, watching her favorite TV shows, and taking long walks with her boyfriend.

Elaina has a deep appreciation for stories of grief and triumph and is honored to walk alongside you on your counseling journey. She understands that entering counseling is a courageous step and looks forward to supporting you on your path to healing and recovery.
